Thomas on Responsive Development of Systems and Software Lean. I found the concepts weren't very difficult to grok; however, I found little detailed information was available online. I turned the reading back to software, choosing to read Mary and Tom Poppendieck's second book, "Implementing Lean Software Development: From Concept to Cash". Scope creep happens when you set off with a defined set of features when you start developing, but after a while additional features need to be implemented as well, or the features change.
